hot to cold- 80 degrees to 20 degrees
From Africa to Switzerland, the climate change has been drastic, but the the good times just keep rolling! Gabi and I are having with drawls from all our new friends we made in Kenya, especially the kids. But we both agreed that now our hearts have another focus, especially while snowboarding. Gabi has been wearing the bracelet some of the kids made her, on her bindings... so the memories never fade. It has been dumping here, and Freddi is suppose to show us all the sweet spots of his home mountain, if it ever opens! It's been so stormy and windy, that it's been closed for days. We have just been jibbing around town.. found this rainbow tree today.. it was like 25 feet long, over a wood fence... with the only sketchy part being falling 10 ft onto that fence. i managed to make it across while Gabi decided to hit the fence by accident, giving herself a pretty bloody nose after springing into the best front flip i have ever seeN! . SHe is OK. So we're just chillin. Watching the snow fall and the storms roll over the mountains!

travel trippy
from blazin' costa rica, to round tables at Jake and DOnnas in Long Island, to an Anon photo shoot in Los Angeles (AKA smellll-A) , to Mammoth Mtn...
where it just snowed a foot! i wouldn't think that i would have time to learn about things other then snowboarding tricks... but i have proven myself wrong. Victoria has been hooking me up with information packed Documentaries that blow my mind.. or at least expand it. i just watched one she gave me called New Tecknowledgies of the 21st century , from earthpulse.com, and out of an hour and a half of steady streamed facts...
the stuff i can recite and remember (not berry much!) are that cell phones are linked to brain tumors, ocean sonar is used even though it is been proven to kill whales and other marine life, and that the cures to cancer have already been discovered. Feel kinda stupid, knowing that there is so much going on out there in the big world, and all i wanna do is snowboard and eat healthy.... but thanks to Victoria, i now know alot more then i use to, and am no longer a numbed down soul. Wait, my fingers were numb today, because it hailed, snowed, and hailed again. do what you can do, learn while you can learn, and speak the truth while your lips still feel flamboyant. word.
other documentaries worth watching,

Positive Turn - Drake Elementary School
so the Positive TUrn GO overBoard book tour was recently held in Chicago where Justina and I cruized around to a bunch of down town schools, libraries, and then some schools outside of the city... and we challenged the kids to be Positive Change makers in this world that needs it. OUr speeches were directly influenced on being motivational and inspiring for these listening young adults. who seemed to be really into it. It was cool for me to share things with them that i thought would be up-lifting for their spirits and up- grading for their minds... to achieve this, i talked about all sorts of things.. from just plain believing in yourself, to being surrounded by positive role models, having good books to read, meditating, showing compassion, loving all people, reaching out to broken places, figuring out small actions that make a huge difference, and much more! Afterwards they seemed really amped up, and re-charged in a sort of way where their eyes glistened with a new approach to life, or at least, new ways to look at it. SO Chicago
was amazingly awesome, and full of many incredible experiences!
Justina and I will be doing Denver next, right after x-games and my 21st birthday ! yippeeee!

2007 World Tour Stops
This YEARS 2007 World Tour Stops in the U.S. were amazingly awesome!
TO say the least... I jumped on for the East Coast stops in Burlington, New York, and Chicago, ending it all in Irvine ! It was so much fun to be on the road with KElly C. and Natasza Z.! They are shred-stars but also great friends! Cruising around with the dudes, (Danny D, Romain, Nicolas, Kevin, and SHaun! we all were rallying to different shops, stops, early risings after late nights at movie premiers! It is a one of a kind thing to hang out with all sorts of kids from all over the place! Signing posters while graffiti artists sprayed the walls outside of the Long Island Shop stop, shooting photos in Down town New York with Kelly and Natasza, watching Nat take a nap before the signing, having a little doggy but up on the table to "hang with the pros." in Chicago, carrying glitter in my pocket to tag under the influence peeps, except Kelly who let me paint/draw on her face some tear drops after not having a sip of alcohol, .... GOOD TIMES! Nothing but good times with the Burton GloBal Team :-)

Hannah's blog welcomes you
VERMONT/MEXICO/SAN DIEGO/COSTA RICA t-o-u-R My month and a half travel-tour to Vermont, Mexico, San Diego, and Costa Rica was a linked adventure of amazing times. Starting the adventure in Vermont for a Round Table with the b-u-r-t-O-n shred-star girls was the kick-off point. There we talked about all the product in the line, and how to make it yet again, the most epic. After the meetings at Jakes sweet house and barn, I headed to hang at my parents house in Green mountain paradise. WHile there i trained with Bill Knowles, the kick-butt , push it all you've got guru. I put on my buff-ness suit and improved my mental power after training for three weeks and attending the weston priory, listening to the inspiring monks. My family is amazing to chill with...
From Vermont i then headed to Mexico for a creative marketing round-table with the chikas and burton crew... what a better place to get creative???
The first day and first excercise was playing a hang-man which welcomed Elena to the Global team. SHe was stoked, as was everybody else. There was a lot of surfing, a Friday night fiesta, mexican foofy drinks, , and hot steamy sun. I even got to see and experience a mexican tradition where they will put a poncho on you, and shake your head and raddle at the same time, right after you've pounded some of their grenedine mixed drink. what a splunder!
From Mecxico, i headed to San Diego to spend the 4th of July with my stud and watch him and his band lay down some tracks in a super cool studio .
It was fun to see the tedious process of producing and recording a song.
There are so many steps from start to finish. THey were on point and i was stoked to rock out all day!
From San Diego I star trecked to Costa Rica to hang with my family, surf the tropical waters, bronze the ultimate bronze, and work on our land,
which is exceptionally beautiful to say the least. ALl jungly, luscious,
and tropically gorgeous. Fresh fish, and yoga makes me feel like a million bucks ! I couldnt be any of a luckier girl, every day feels like a up-lifting dream.
Oh yeah, somebody sent me a picture that they drew for a class project, a "portrait of a famous person" she said was their assignment. that made me blush . I also created my own art piece while in Vermont for a darkSide art show where they would sell it and give me 75% towards my charity and then the rest towards a charity they were funding. Pretty cool, eh?
Life is rollin', in a positively gracious style.
